For nearly 30 years The Ragtime Ramblers have thrilled audiences at festivals, stadiums and private events. Music Director and Bandleader Dave Ivaz helped design the “walkaround” Dixieland Jazz Program for Chicago’s famous Navy Pier, where guests from the world over sang and stomped along with The Ramblers entertaining as “The Dock Street Stompers” for nearly a decade. A member of the legendary Chicago Cubs Baseball Team’s “Cubs Quintet,” multi-instrumentalist Dave Ivaz has performed with international headliners, in Broadway productions, on television, with stars in the Dixieland Jazz genre and more.  The Ragtime Ramblers Midwest bandmates are equally renowned, including Chicago Jazz Icons Eric Schneider on clarinet, Brian Sandstrom on bass, Chicago Museum of Broadcast Communications’ Mike Delaney on reeds and a “who’s who” of Chicago horn players and drummers.  Prestigious clubs, tourist attractions, private and municipal event planners, concert agents and more rely on the Ragtime Ramblers for the finest Trad Jazz and their signature eclectic “Dixiefied” versions of popular rock songs.
